Ticket Prices Rise

Tickets for PSU football will go up by $3.00 per ticket.

Time Rules Reversed

The 2006 NCAA football season started several new rules for assisting in lowering the time needed to play a game. The new rules came under much scrutiny the entire season (not to mention mis-used in the PSU vs Wisconsin game). The rules have been overturned and new ideas have been given to assist instead.

Carr Thinking of Retirement?

With a contract verbiage change, the rumors have started that Lloyd Carr may be looking to retire as early as the end of next season.

New Track Participants

It is rumored that Derrick Williams, Justin King and A.J. Wallace have all joined the PSU track team. I would think this would be mostly for speed training.

Norwood Makes the Team

Jordan tried out for the PSU men's basketball team this week and today Ed DeChellis announced that Jordan is on the team. He will suit for this Saturdays game in the number 44 until a number 24 is made in his size by Nike.

Norwood Back To the Hardwood

Jordan Norwood was a tremendous basketball player at State College High School. He was actually given a preferred walk-on priveledge by Ed DeChellis, but Jordan decided to walk-on to the football team instead. A decision I think many of us are glad he made. With the lack of depth on the basketball team, PSU could use another ball handler not to mention one that is known for his defense. Norwood is not expected to make any early contributions, however he is hoping to suit as early as this week.
