Cower Resigns
I know this is a PSU blog, however I am also an avid Steelers fan. Bill Cower has resigned from football for at least the 2007 season. This is the statement he made, however there is already speculation of the Miami position. The Steelers have Cower under contract for another year, so the Steelers would have to give permission to the Dolphins to be able to even talk to Cower. This could prove to be very interesting. Cower wanted $7 million a year to stay in Pittsburgh when the Steelers offered him $6. The Dolphins organization will supposedly stop at nothing to turn their team into a winner with money not being a factor. If the dolphins decide to shell out the money, anticipate the Steelers getting some nice draft picks from the Dolphins in return.
