Repercussions?

It is official... Defensive tackle Chris Baker and redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Phil Taylor have been removed from the football team. It was expected that both would not only be on the team, but would be practicing in a few short weeks. This is a major hit to the solid defensive line PSU was to have return. There is a lot talent yet on this line, but this is definitely going to hurt.

NCAA Glitch, or is it?

This is pretty funny. Watch it...

No More Waiting For "Scores From Other Games"

Penn State is installing two 350 linear feet of LED signage in Beaver Stadium to display real time stats, game scores, player profiles, etc. This is going to be quite a huge change and a VERY nice upgrade.

The Bryce Jordan Center is getting a very similar upgrade, however theirs will be 960 linear feet. My guess is a wrap around like many venues around the nation these days.

Here is a sample the company (ANC Sports) hired did for the Yankees.

And Another - Dukes is In

Adam Gress got the day started and Curtis Dukes kept it going. Dukes is a 3 star RB from Indian River (NY). He chose PSU over Pitt, Syracuse, Temple, Buffalo and Villanova. Dukes has had Penn State as his leader for some time now, but just today decided to pull the trigger. Dukes is a "BIG" back already at 6'2" 225lbs.
