Finally Over?

USC's rivals site is reporting that it is over for D'Anton Lynn as far as recruiting. He was going to maybe visit USC this weekend yet even though he verbally committed to Penn State a few months ago, but he could not make it there and is now stating his recruiting is over. He will be a Nittany Lion and start there at the cornerback position.

More Gone

The Collegian is reporting that Knowledge Timmons and two other PSU football player have been removed from the team. It is speculated that since this was related to the HUB fight, that Navarrow Bowman and Chris Baker are the other two as they are currently facing charges for the same incident.

Penn State pulled A.J. Price away from Virginia this weekend on his visit. Everyone seemed to think he was UVA bound, however he committed this past weekend to the Nittany Lions. Price is a big receiver at 6' 4" 175, so it is a welcomed addition to the team. He was also a late bloomer, as he was not even going to play his senior year of football. After his coach put a video on YouTube and sent out a few videos to specific colleges, he had a Penn State and Michigan offer shortly thereafter.

Today it was announced that Mike Farrell committed to the lions. Farrell is an offensive need position for the lions at tackle. He has the size and frame at 6' 6" 272lbs, but has a lot of strength to catch up on before seeing the field. Many believe Farrell's offer was based on a greyshirt year, however nothing official has been said yet.
