There is hope... Broadband Through Power Lines

I heard this was in the works a good while back, but this is the first article that I have actually read on deployment of the idea. Think of all the power lines out there. Anyone could get broadband then, right? To quote Lee Corso, "Not so fast...".

Running service to a single home is too costly, he says, but service to clusters of perhaps 50 homes or more is feasible.

So maybe they will not go for the people that don't already have broadband and instead go for the urban areas of the nation.
