Google Talk Easter Egg
For all those people that say, "Google Talk is so plain", here is something that will stir things up a little. Right-click on the Google Talk System Tray icon and select "About...". Notice anything. I didn't at first until someone made me look again. There are VERY light numbers above the privacy policy link. You have to look very close. If you can see it, it will say "play 23 21 13 16 21 19 7 1 13 5". So, WTF does that mean? You will notice that all the numbers are less than 24 so what significance can that have? Well, someone figured it out. Seeing that there are 26 letters in the English alphabet, assign each letter a number (A=1, B=2, etc.). You will find that the code is "play wumpus game". Supposedly, you are to invite "wumpus.game@gmail.com" as a friend and once it is confirmed, open a text window and type "Play". The wumpus game is too start.
I tried all this, but I never received an acceptance from this gmail account so I could not play. There may be a limitation to the amount of people that can play at one time or something. Give it a few days maybe since this is probably circulating pretty fast right now.
